AquaFEED – A biofuel program funded by Nordic Energy Research
The conference will bring together researchers and viewpoints from both chemical and biological sides of biofuel research. The main topics of discussion will be the potential of new materials, including materials related to photonics, chemistry of artificial photosynthesis and photobioreactors, and metabolic innovations including innovative pathways to produce direct fuels like propane or hydrogen, as well as new metabolic pathways for production of carbohydrates.
Invited talks will be presented by:
- Daniel C. Ducat, Michigan State University
- Wolfgang Hess, University of Freiburg
- Jean-David Rochaix, University of Geneva
- Lothar Wondraczek, University of Jena
In addition, 12 talks will be selected from the abstracts. Posters will be presented throughout the duration of the conference.
