In order to reach the Nordic region’s ambitious objectives of carbon neutrality, we need an accelerated and comprehensive green transition of the transport sector. This requires Nordic cooperation, due to our deeply connected transport infrastructures, and should explore modal shifts, behaviour changes, and sustainable technologies and fuels. The Green Transition of the Transport sector Programme aims to contribute to such climate solutions, through cross-sectoral collaboration across sectors.
The programme involves five projects, which investigate innovative solutions and possible paths forward to achieve sustainable Nordic transportation on land, at sea, and in the air.
