How can the Nordic region achieve reliable, sustainable, and flexible energy systems, as well as harvest synergies from integration of all infrastructures and reduced costs and improved performance in energy storage? In this session, you will get to know just that.
The session will revolve around regional integration and sustainability by 2030, which includes presentations and discussions about the energy system on multiple scales from energy resources, technologies, energy carriers, and energy conversion to citizens and consumers in their everyday lives. Smartness will also be a key topic within this session and that implies more connected and intelligent energy systems, which optimize various systems goals at the same time, for example high security of supply with flexibility, harvesting the greatest value of varying renewable energy production from wind and solar power.
