Nordic Energy Research hosted a final seminar for the research programme Sustainable Energy Systems 2050 on 21 -22 October 2015. The seminar took place at the Norwegian Research Council in Oslo. 65 representatives from energy research, authorities and industries in the Nordic countries gathered to share and learn from the results. Secretary General of The Nordic Council of Ministers, Dagfinn Høybråten gave the opening speech followed by Hans Jørgen Koch, Director of Nordic Energy Research. 10 projects, representing innovative Nordic cooperation in energy research and excellent research networks, presented their results. On day 2, Mats Rydehell from Chalmers University of Technology gave a key note speech on benefits and challenges of collaboration between research and industry.
