Upon closing on February 19th, a total of 96 pre-proposals applications had been submitted to Nordic Energy Research in connection with the call for Nordic Flagship Projects. The high interest from top research institutions throughout the Nordic region underlines the relevance of Nordic cooperation in low-carbon energy research.

When the Board of Nordic Energy Research has evaluated the pre-proposals, successful applicants will be notified whether their proposal has qualified for Phase II of the call process. For Phase II, Nordic Energy Research intends to invite applicants of pre-proposals worth approximately three times the available funding amount.

Important dates:

  • Monday, March 23rd: Qualified pre-proposals invited to submit full proposals
  • Thursday, May 12th: Deadline for submitting full proposals at 13:00 CET
  • Monday, June 29th: Successful full proposals to be invited to contract negotiations
